Saving mothers' lives requires skilled doctors and midwives,
access to family planning, ambulances, roads and basic medical
tools. It's a big job, but every bit helps.

 

$22,000 can purchase a container filled with sterile gloves,

syringes, pediatric scales, hospital beds and mattresses,

centrifuges, computers, stretchers, incubators, stethoscopes,

fetal monitors, nebulizers, and other lifesaving medical equipment

 

$4,500 can purchase a new operating light to assist with

desperately needed surgical procedures

$1,000 can fund basic obstetric training for a midwife
or health worker

$500 can procure a surgical kit to help a doctor perform

a safe C-Section for a mother and baby in danger

$120 can build a bicycle ambulance to get mothers to clinics
in time

$50 can give a health worker the solar flashlight they need
to reach remote villages at night

$25 of supplies can provide mothers with safe, clean tools

during childbirth

A $1 does of medicine can stop a hemorrhage—the leading
cause of death for mothers
